One of our favorite athletes in the world, Usain Bolt, has teamed up with the specialists behind Nissan to create and present a unique Nissan GT-R. The list of details we were provided with is quite short, though. The model sports a gold exterior, with gold interior trim and an embossed signature of Usain Bolt.
We were also notified the car is going to be auctioned off on eBay, to support the Usain Bolt Foundation in providing better cultural and educational opportunities to children in Jamaica. An additional Nissan GT-R Bold Edition will also be manufactured, according to Nissan, which will be available for purchase worldwide.
Furthermore, an interesting fact is that Usain Bolt will extend his already renowned role as Nissan brand’s ambassador, to become Nissan’s Director of Excitement. The COO of Nissan, Toshiyuki Shiga, declares: “Nissan shares the spirit of excitement that captivated worldwide audiences at the Olympics. There is no-one better qualified than Usain Bolt to help us translate that spirit into great experiences.”
