Bentley has updated their 2014 Continental GT Speed, making the company’s fastest production model even more powerful than before.
Still powered by the W12 6.0-liter turbo-twin engine, but now the twelve-cylinder motor now develops 626 bhp and 605 lb-ft, compared to the previous year’s model which only reached 616 bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque. This upgrade enables the coupe to reach 206 mph (or 331.5 km/h), with the convertible close behind with a top speed of 203 mph (326.7 km/h).
The Continental GT Speed does not only come with a more powerful engine – the updated version also features a lowered chassis and a stiffer suspension, in addition to minor paint trim updates on the rear diffuser, front splitter and side skirts. The 21-inch alloys, headlights and taillights now come with a dark tint finish, with a red finish being applied to the brake calipers.
In order to add a little more zest to the cabin, Bentley is also introducing new color and stitching options.
