China has become the world’s largest luxury car market in these last couple of years, that’s why more and more automakers have decided to release limited edition models of some of their most exclusive cars specially made for the Chinese market. Bentley makes no exception and their newest model is a Limited Edition Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase that’s available for Chinese buyers only.

Handcrafted by Mulliner with unique details that reference Bentley’s origins, this limited edition Mulsanne will be produced in just fifteen units, available in two shades of black: Onyx or Black Velvet. The first version uses a hint of dark blue that’s mixed with darker tones of black to create “the deepest black finish offered by Bentley”, while the second version has red pigments for a “richer black-based finish” that’s inspired by black cherries.

These bespoke finishes are hand applied and then the car is embellished with a hand-painted gold line which highlights the Mulsanne’s waistline and its unique rear haunch. Other exclusive features on this limited-run Mulsanne include a Mulliner “Serenity” chrome grille with a stunning double diamond quilt pattern and a new set of 21″ Radiance 14-spoke wheels with a polished look.

As you might expect from the iconic British luxury brand, the interior of this Mulsanne oozes luxury, with the finest handcrafted veneers, premium metals and exquisite leathers mixed together with the bespoke Mulliner touch. The interior will be available in three unique color combinations: Newmarket Tan and Burnt Oak, Fireglow and Imperial Blue, or Shortbread and Redwood.

What’s more, the cars will be also graced by a modern day London skyline, that’s embroidered in each of the four seats and replicated with fine details in the veneer fascia up front. Other finishing touches include polished stainless steel Mulliner tread plates and special Mulliner welcome lamps as well.
