Mercedes Benz has just revealed the new 2012 C63 AMG Coupe, a powerful car that’s going to be showcased at next month’s New York Auto Show. The C63 AMG Coupe has the same engine and performances as the C63 AMG sedan, a 6.3L V8 with 451 hp and 600 Nm of torque that will take this car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and to a top speed electronically limited at 250 km/h.
With the extra AMG Performance Package the car will gain almost 30 HP to a total power output of 480 HP and 600 Nm of torque that will make it accelerate 0.1 second faster from 0 to 100 km/h. The new C63 AMG Coupe will be priced at 72,590 EUR with the German VAT included and the additional AMG Performance Pack will cost 7,116 EUR.
Mercedes will also launch a more refined version of the C63 AMG Coupe that will be named “Edition 1” and will come with several exclusive upgrades. Edition 1 will be priced at 77,231 EUR. and will feature AMG sports seats, door panel centers and armrests upholstered in black designo leather with contrasting stitching, a two tone wrap for the steering wheel and Edition 1 badges around the car.
The 2012 Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe will be introduced on the European market in July and later this year, in September, it will arrive in US dealerships as well.
