Mercedes-Benz has decided to raise the bar on luxurious private jets, teaming up with Lufthansa Technik for a showstopping private jet interior concept that’s going to be showcased at EBACE 2015, an event which revolves around the private aircraft industry.

With this unique project, the two major companies, Mercedes and Lufthansa, have teamed up for the very first time, taking the beautiful Mercedes design language and turning it into a futuristic interior for a Lufthansa jet. The result is more than incredible, looking like a modern private jet, combined with a luxury hotel and a design museum in the same time.

The narrow jet cabin features windows that are concealed by so-called black panels, that appear to float in front of the window like a light corona. These panels are inspired from the screen design of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, just like many other design cues from this amazing project.

That’s why we’re going to say this bespoke private jet interior looks like an S-Class for the skies. Unfortunately at this point, this project is just a concept, but I’m sure that a millionaire who wants to have a one-of-a-kind private jet, will try to make it happen. If you can afford a private jet from Lufthansa, you probably can afford to get a futuristic interior designed by Mercedes-Benz as well, right?
