One of the latest announcements made by Mercedes-Benz is related to the launch of a special edition Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, a car that is stunningly related to the Black Series.

The new model, dubbed as the C63 AMG Edition 507, is propelled by a 6.3-liter V8 engine tweaked to generate 507 HP at 6,800 RPM and a maximum torque of 610 Nm at 5,200 RPM. The C63 AMG 507 will reportedly be available as estate, sedan and coupé, all three boasting with top speeds of up to 174 mph (280 km/h).

According to Mercedes-Benz, the C63 AMG boasts with technology developed for the SLS, consisting of connecting rods, a lightweight crankshaft and forged pistons. The braking system on the C63 AMG Edition 507 is composite, with red calipers and 360 x 36 mm disks.

The saloon and coupé versions of the C63 AMG 507 will be able to accelerate from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds, while the estate will manage that 0.1 seconds later. The models also boast a titanium-grey painted variable intake manifold, the same bonnet as the Black Series and a brand new ECU.

The cars are mounted on new wheels, measuring 19 inches in diameter, and will further be fitted with distinct exterior mirror housings, radiator grille surrounds and boot lid spoiler. The list of additions goes one, including a high performance suspension system and rear axle locking differential.

The cabin of the C63 AMG Edition 507 will reportedly be provided with various designo leather upholstery, all sorts of styling options and a steering wheel covered in Alcantara. Sadly, the brand hasn’t yet released any details regarding the costs, but we found out the C63 AMG Edition 507 will be available starting with the 8th of April.
