Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6

After many teasers and a couple of leaks, Mercedes-Benz has finally revealed their luxurious 2+2 seater concept at the 2016 Monterey Car Week, a seducing project bearing the name Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6. The ‘6’ might refer to the length of this ravishing concept, which is almost 6 meters long, but this car might actually give us an idea on how the second body of the Maybach range could look like.

Compared to existing Maybach sedans, this concept looks way more stylish and sleek, with a jaw dropping design that incorporates slim LED headlights and taillights, a monstrous chrome-finished front grille and a super cool attitude overall.

Since this ride wasn’t exactly built for road-use, there were no limits or restrictions in terms of design, that’s why the designers from Mercedes were able to let their imagination run wild and penned down the Maybach 6 to be as mad and as beautiful as possible.

Powered by four permanent magnet synchronous electric motors, complemented by 80 kWh of ‘juice’, this breathtaking supercar benefits from 750 hp and a theoretical range of over 500 km. A quick-charge function along with the German company’s 350 kWh charging system would allow the Maybach 6 to gain 100 km of range in only five minutes of charging, which is really good, right?

Inside the cabin, the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 is definitely worthy of attention. Please note the dashboard, door trim and seats, complemented by numerous wooden accents that instantly make you think about luxury. This concept also shows off a set of circular instruments, matched by an active windscreen that displays vital information, except the costs of this thing, if it would ever reach production.
