MB&F is a known for its quirky and unique creations – and the highly exclusive limited edition HM6 Space Pirate Watch fits this description perfectly.

The design is the brainchild of Maximilian Büsser, who has been working on a series of horological machines that have found their way into multiple timepieces, the latest being the HM6. The Space Pirate was inspired by something Büsser was passionate about as a child – a manga story called Mr. Future, which featured space pirates, an idea which apparently stayed with him all this time.

This intriguing timepiece features a central tourbillon and four spheres that expose the inner workings of the watch. Two of these show time, while the others display the spinning mechanics that actually power the watch. Furthermore, the central crystal offers a glimpse inside the tourbillion which can be closed with a metal eyelid, somewhat reminiscent of a “space pirate” which winks at you from your watch.

The MB&F HM6 Space Pirate Watch is an ultra-exclusive timepiece. Only 50 units will ever be produced, each priced at a hefty $230,000.
