You don’t tend to hear about it that often, because the prices are prohibitive for everyone but the wealthiest tycoons, but airplanes sometimes go through makeovers which turn them into luxurious flying mansions, becoming something like superyachts of the skies. The one we are to showcase is a Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner delivered in 2007, with has been customized by Andrew Winch Designs.
This sumptuous aircraft was completed at Lufthansa Technik and is heavily fitted with high-end amenities. Those on board will get to enjoy the multiple huge TV screens, as well as the stylish dining saloon with its air of opulence – everywhere you look you’re surrounded by deluxe leather, tapestry, and woodwork. Even a flight across the world won’t seem too inconvenient, thanks to the airplane’s spacious and extremely comfortable cabins with en-suite bathrooms. Actually, it seems increasingly less likely we’d ever want such a flight to end!
