It’s a pleasure for us to feature exquisite associations between world renowned names, such as this association between Frank Sinatra and Jack Daniel’s. One of Frank’s biggest pleasures was to sit down with a glass of Jack Daniel’s in his hand, a liquor which he used to call “Nectar of the Gods”. So, this is quite an occasion for Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey to pay tribute to the gone to kingdom come artist, therefore they are launching a brand new ultra premium Jack Daniel’s in collaboration with FSE – Frank Sinatra Enterprises. Touched by this, Frank Sinatra Jr., the son of the renowned singer, declared: “Dad would be very flattered by the association.”
Bottled at 90 proof, in a uniquely designed 1 liter bottle, the Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select special tribute bottle is aged in exclusive “Sinatra bottles” at the brand’s distillery in Tennessee. This way, the whiskey has received an amber tone which is darker than the original whiskey.
Frank Sinatra Jr. declared the following: “This fine Tennessee Whiskey, or Old No. 7 as he referred to it, was a favorite part of my father’s life and he loved both sharing it with his friends and introducing it to new acquaintances. I’m very pleased to continue to be part of the Jack Daniel’s family and feel the introduction of Sinatra Select is an appropriate tribute as we near my father’s 100th birthday in 2015.”
The Sinatra Select whiskey is expected to sell for more than $150 per package at retail stores in the United States and duty free outlets all around the world. The superb, specially designed gift box also includes a book which describes the relationship between Frank Sinatra and Jack Daniel’s.
