Are you ready to feast your eyes on a new exquisite timepiece from Chopard? Not surprisingly, we’re faced right now with an update to the brand’s racing-themed Mille Miglia collection, in the form of the Chopard Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph.
Revealed at Baselworld 2017, this interesting watch introduces styling changes to the XL version of the classic model alongside the Chopard Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph Ref. 178588-3001, which is dedicated to women.
Showing off a 42 mm stainless steel case – 39 mm for the ladies version – both models will be able to handle 50-meter deep waters, paired by the standard “Tire Tread” rubber strap. Furthermore, both watches will come with a self-winding movement backed up by a 42-hour power reserve. That would seem like enough, right?
Well, we do have to mention that Chopard went for a black tone throughout the dial for the men’s version, while ladies will receive a mother-of-pearl dial, with a diamond studded bezel. To be fair, the updated Mille Miglia doesn’t really seem to be an outstanding model, although most of the retro-charm still remains.
The Chopard Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph Ref. 168589-3002 and the Ref. 178588-3001 bring some aesthetic changes into the mix, that might get your attention though. With that in mind, please note that the men’s Chopard Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph Ref 168589-3002 will cost $4,900 USD while the women’s Ref 178588-3001 is set to be worth $11,900.
