The Strider 19 mega yacht tender, created by Italian designer Christian Grande and New Zealand-based studio Naiad for Sacs marine, is more than just a luxurious accessory for really big ship. At almost 19 meters in length, she is almost a hgh-end yacht in her own right.
Created using state-of-the-art techniques and materials, the Strider 19 features a deep-V hull, the low center of gravity, and sizeable tubes, all characteristics of a high-performance vessel. Furthermore, the most powerful version is equipped with twin 1200hp engines, allowing her to reach a top speed of 50 knots, with the highest cruising speed being a respectable 45 knots.
Remarkably for a yacht tender, the deck functions as a sort of beach area and has enough room for a party of up to 22 people. There are plenty of tables and sofas placed there to create a comfortable environment for all those on board. Finally, accommodations consist of two large and well-appointed cabins (one double and one triple), with a bathroom and a dinette also located below deck.
While the Strider 19 is still in the project phase, when completed this will reportedly be the largest yacht tender in the world – so we’ll be keeping an eye on any new developments.
