Swiss watchmaker Hublot has joined forces with the Bruce Lee Foundation to pay an awesome homage to the legendary Kung Fu star and all around inspirational hero that was Bruce Lee.
In honor of what would have been his 75th birth anniversary, the company has introduced a new watch at the ‘Legend Never Dies: Bruce Lee 75th Anniversary Exhibition’, held between the 23rd and 29th of November at Atrium II, Gateway Arcade, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.
The JeetKune Do martial arts form that Bruce Lee has created still inspires many today, revealing how imaginative and flexible his mind really was. He managed to blend in the Eastern and Western worlds in an incredible manner, and the foundation, established by Linda Lee and Shannon Lee – his wife and daughter, tries to continue his legacy.
The Spirit of Big Bang Bruce Lee shows off the Hublot classic design lines, as well as the unquestionable power that Bruce Lee had. It comes in a tonneau case, with yellow elements, with the dragon on Lee’s desk being the main source of inspiration behind the design on the face of the watch.
The Bruce Lee watch features Hublot’s new movement HUB4700, with a frequency of 5 Hz, 36,000 beats/hour, 278 parts, 31 gems, an automatic winding feature, as well as 50 hours power reserve.
