Following the debut of the first FD model, the talented people behind Horizon Yachts have decided to update their FD Series by adding to two new exciting models, dubbed as the FD74 and FD102. The latter is actually the largest of the FD series, at 31.7 meters, and shows off a stunning open bridge, punctuated by fold-down balconies that extend the expansive al fresco living area.
Packing innovative amenities and all sorts of options, the FD102 offers five staterooms, including a full-beam master, so you could take up to 10 passengers on board. As you’d expect, large windows, a generous main salon and a formal dining area welcome passengers on this beauty, while the future owners will be able to customize their vessel in any way they like.
Focused on safety, style, relaxation areas and the maximization of space within the cabins, the team at Horizon Yachts employed the services of Cor D. Rover to cover the naval architecture of this vessel. Entertaining is also an important factor in customer layout choices, as is the ability for the owners to easily manage the yacht themselves, since they’ll probably want to enjoy a cruise only with their friends or family.
Horizon Yachts founder, John Lu, is very happy with these new designs, stating that they blend contemporary interiors and exterior styling with flexible performance capabilities and a functional design. There are more projects like these set to be revealed in the near future, with the FD series ready to be introduced to the world in 2017.
