Harry Winston’s Avenue Dual Time Automatic Is An Art Deco Masterpiece

Harry Winston Avenue Dual Time Automatic

Boasting a familiar, yet radical vibe, the new Harry Winston Avenue Dual Time Automatic watch could easily be considered an Art Deco masterpiece. Deco-inspired pieces have always benefited from a clean look, and the incredible style coming out of the lines of this watch is almost unbearable.

The case has been made from zalium, an alloy made of aluminium and zirconium that’s lightweight, corrosion resistant and has no allergenic properties, showing off an attractive gunmetal surface. Harry Winston used zalium even for the pin buckle of this watch, that’s equally interesting.

The dial of the Harry Winston Avenue Dual Time Automatic watch features three narrow windows arranged in an optically tricky formation and at the bottom of the dial, a cool, architectural grille resembling an old-fashioned radiator allows the day/night indicator to hide-and-go-nowhere with the wearer.

The new Harry Winston timepiece measures 35.80 mm across and 53.80 mm from lug to lug and powering this magic watch is the HW3502 calibre, with an alligator strap that keeps it close to your wrist at all times. The crown shows off that all-so-known “HW” logo, while the $22,200 price-tag for the zalium version – $38,300 for the rose  gold one – reminds you why the Harry Winston name is so exclusive.
