The nations around the Arabian Gulf are known for their great wealth and an even greater desire to flaunt it. That’s how you get such a huge density of ultra-luxurious cars in the area, so much so that even the police departments boast means a transportation that would make a millionaire jealous. And since nothing screams opulence quite like gold, plenty of the Gulf’s super-rich have had their cars plated with the precious metal, like the one we are about to showcase.
This very special Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 was customized by Maatouk Design London, a company which, despite its name, is based in Dubai. The car isn’t fully gold-plated (because too much of a good thing is bad, perhaps?), however it does feature plenty of gold elements, both inside and out. This particular model was custom made for Qatari Businessman Mr. Jaber Abdullah Al Humaidi, who, according to the company, wanted it to be modified for this year’s Qatar National Day celebrations (which take place at the end of the year).
No changes have been made to the engine, but when you have an Aventador with more bling than Mr. T, you don’t really need anything more, do you?
