If you want to keep your precious watches as safe as possible, the Colosimo watch safe from Dottling is something that will surely catch your attention. It was previously aimed towards holding just one timepiece, but, considering the current demand for high-capacity winders, Dottling have redesigned it to hold three watches.
It was declared to be the smallest watch safe in the world, weighing only 13 kilograms. It’s actually an exquisite 3-watch rotor case that sports diminished sizes: 21 x 21 x 21 centimeters. In addition, this safe has been designed in such a way that it attracts fashion lovers as well, in two different forms: the Mies and the Spike.
They come in limited editions of only 20 units, the customer also being able to choose between a single winder version and a 3-watch rotor. The rather elegant Mies, or the leather-covered, sparkling Spike, can hold three watches each, with a price tag of $22,100 or €16,666, while the single winder version is purchasable at a measlier €14,000 or $18,600. Indeed, safety is costly today.
