Celebrating 25 years in the timekeeping industry, Chanel has unveiled the Camélia Flying Tourbillion, a gorgeous timepiece aimed towards women, boasting premium elegance and style, all encased within a beautifully-jeweled case. The “Camélia Flying Tourbillion” movement, the watch comprises, has been named after the shape of the crown that covers the cage of the exquisite mechanism.
Reportedly, it boasts a 40-hour power reserve. The design on this beautiful piece is actually a result of Chanel’s collaboration with the Swiss watchmakers Renaud & Papai. The shape of its case gets inspiration from the renowned Chanel No. 5’s bottle shape, as well as from Place Vendôme.
The glossy black analog ceramic dial sports a diameter of 37 mm, being encased with 18 rubies. Furthermore, it is covered in 18-carat white gold, while the hands, plated with the same metal, are fitted with 15 diamonds. In addition to these, the watch also features 5.2 carats of baguette-cut diamonds, a total of 101. The bezel and the crown also feature around 127 stones.
The watch includes an alligator skin strap. It is resistant to water, but that’s not very recommended. This timepiece will only be available in a limited edition of 20 units. The price for one of these isn’t yet known to us.
