It’s easier to pay for luxury when you know it’s ultimately for a good cause – so with this in mind, Fendi is auctioning a series of celebrity-designed Peekaboo bags, with proceedings from the sale going to charity.

Celebrities enlisted include Gwyneth Paltrow, Adele, Georgia May Jagger, Tracey Ermin, Cara Delevingne, Zaha Hadid, or Naomi Harris. They will all customize their very own version of Fendi’s iconic Peekaboo bag, with three of each model thus created set to be made – one for the Fendi archive, another to be kept by the celebrity who designed it and another to be auctioned. The project marks the opening of the Italian luxury brand’s London flagship store in New Bond Street.

The usual price for a Fendi Peekaboo bag is $6,270, but the celebrity appeal, as well as the charitable nature of the auction will certainly bump up the prices for these exclusive items.
