The design specialists behind the Portuguese brand Boca do Lobo Studio have recently brought back to life two of their iconic designs, one of them being manufactured of no less than 1088 triangles. There are two brand new special editions on the market, of the renowned Pixel Cabinet and the Diamond Sideboard, which will reportedly be available in 2013.
The brand new Diamond edition will be decked with green emerald tones, weirdly said to be the new black of the 2013. Resembling the amethyst Diamond, the sideboard will also boast three superbly sculptured doors which reveal a sufficiently large interior housing shelves and two drawers, garnished with gold leaf.
The exteriors come with an elegant silver leaf finish and glossy translucent green emerald. The lion’s head feet was also disposed off, the brand new board featuring a mahogany-lined base decked with bronze mirror. The new limited edition Pixel Cabinets have been enlarged, now including two distinct portions separated by a polished acrylic panel.
The interior has been embellished with an aged mirror top with capitoné, while the bottom has been designed to house four drawers with handles decked in gold. The triangles have been done in 1664 anodized aluminum in superb tones like crème, pearl and champagne. The whole cabinet lies on a polished acrylic base.
Price-wise, the Diamond sideboard is available at €21,200 or around $28,150 at current exchange rates.
