Die-hard Jaeger-LeCoultre fans might remember that the initial version of the Master Gyrotourbillon 1 was revealed back in 2004. This complication is still part of the watchmaker’s current collection, but what’s even better is that the Swiss brand has recently introduced a new edition of this iconic watch.
Apart from looking all kinds of stylish, the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Gyrotourbillon 1 was designed to offer much more than just a multi-axis tourbillon. The watch masters from Jaeger-LeCoultre managed to incorporate a perpetual calendar into this marvel, complete with the Equation of time on the dial side, while the back of the watch shows off the power reserve.
More than a decade after this innovative concept was shared with the world, the Master Gyrotourbillon 1 is still a captivating watch. The latest version shows off a beautiful dial, featuring marquetry of semi-precious gemstones, with a deep blue color and mineral inclusions being part of the mouth-watering visual effect.
Furthermore, Jaeger-LeCoultre also framed the dial by setting the platinum case with Baguette cut diamonds, 114 of them to be exact, with a total weight of 6.7 karats. Looking balanced, stylish, and yet in a league of its own, the new Master Gyrotourbillon 1 will continue to remind us why the Swiss brand has been so successful and appreciated throughout time.
