The sound specialists at Bang & Olufsen have recently come up with a staggering set of loudspeakers they’ve called the BeoLab 12-1. This magnificent entertainment gadget follows the tradition of the Bang & Olufsen family, of providing enthusiasts with state of the art high performance acoustic gadgetry which they can easily place everywhere within their private homes.

Most ideally used alongside flatscreen televisions, the BeoLab 12-1 are meant to extend the Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 12 series. Boasting with a superbly elegant design but packing quite a hard punch in terms of performance, the speakers can be easily paired with other Bang & Olufsen speakers to create a unique indoor atmosphere. In terms of appearance, the BeoLab 12-1 feature the same designs of the earlier unveiled BeoLab 12-3 and 12-2, superbly penned down by David Lewis Designers.

Technically, these speakers are powered by separate ICEpower amplifiers, just like all the speakers in the 12 series, developing amazingly clear sound quality, quite a paradox for a set of speakers this size. The product manager, Michael Jensen, describes the series: “The BeoLab 12 collection is all about flexibility.

The Bang & Olufsen household wants pitch-perfect audio whether they’re watching a film in surround or enjoying their favorite playlists. BeoLab 12 speakers are designed to sound and look great, without the bulk of traditional speakers, and the three different sets all work together seamlessly both acoustically and aesthetically. On the wall or on the new floor stands, the possibilities to create the perfect sound design for any room just got better.”

The BeoLab 12-1 speakers are available in white and silver finishes. The prices haven’t yet come to our ears, but they will reportedly be formally launched in the United Kingdom until the end of the month. There’s also a full range of floor stands that matches the entire BeoLab 12 collection to be presented by the brand as well.
