Ateliers deMonaco

Ateliers deMonaco has unveiled a limited series of 88 stunning pieces, part of the brand’s new Ronde de Monte Carlo Collection. These bespoke watches seem to feature the best of two of my favorite universes, mixing luxurious touches with a somewhat retro or vintage product.

Featuring a 39 mm case, finished in either 18kt rose gold or white gold, these chic watches are comprised of 31 parts, wrapped around a titanium core. Brushed, polished and assembled by hand, these watches benefit from a double AR-coated sapphire crystal, and will handle up to 30-meter deep waters.

But all these details seem to pale down by comparison with the 617 dazzling diamonds which have been embedded on the case. With a total weight of 2.93 carats, we’re sure these tiny precious stones will help people focus on the real beauty of this watch.

This wonderful creation from Ateliers deMonaco is able to tick thanks to a Swiss automatic caliber , developed in-house, that’s called dMc-700, with 26 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. With a Silicium escape wheel, hand-decorated bridges, Perlage and a 22kt rose gold hand-engraved rotor, the mechanism is both sublime and possibly hypnotic.

Customers can have their dial finished in white or blue mother of pearl, and more diamonds are optional, and possibly recommended. Helping this thing keep you company is a brown, black, purple or blue, hand-stitched alligator leather strap, accompanied by an 18kt rose or white gold and titanium folding buckle. Decisions, decisions.
