Madame Kate

The 60-meter Madame Kate is the very first superyacht from Amels’ Limited Editions 199 range. Designed by the brilliant Tim Heywood, this beautiful white vessel looks timeless, with classic design lines and modern engineering beautifully mixed with high-tech amenities and impressive details.

Offering the ultimate in luxury and privacy, this new Amels yacht includes a well developed platform that allows for noise cancellation and lack of vibrations on board. This means a lot, especially while guests chill out on the comfortable sun deck salon, which comes with a large Jacuzzi and an intimate dining area.

Madame Kate accommodates 12 guests in a welcoming environment which feels just like home, featuring a contemporary mix of colors and patterns, with bright furniture and artwork and interesting textures.

As such, surfaces were finished in a sparkling high gloss, with polished elements adding a bit of contrast to the picture. The interiors were designed by Laura Sessa, who also added imagined the two VIP guest suites on the bridge deck, as well as three other guest staterooms on the lower deck, each of them decorated in a unique color scheme.

But there’s much more to keep passengers excited on this yacht. Madame Kate also features one 8-meter limo tender and another 6-meter MOB tender, launched through two upward opening doors on either side forward in the hull. The water toys range also includes a pair of wave-runners, while a heli pad is located on the sleek foredeck.

It’s also well worth mentioning that Madame Kate has been equipped with two Caterpillar 3512C engines, developing 1500 kW each. This means that the vessel will reach a top speed of 16.5 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 13 knots.

Also interesting is that the yacht includes the introduction of Amels’ Heat Recovery System, which uses residual energy from the engines to heat systems such as the Jacuzzi.
