A much expected event from Alpina – the 2013 BMW Alpina B7 has been unveiled recently, two months ahead from its official debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, due to start by the middle of August.

The brand new B7 is based on the recently facelifted BMW 7-Series and will boast with an upgraded interior with new upholstery choices and ceramic secondary controls, a revised front fascia with LED fog lights and a lot more, as the car has received more than 30 new parts.

In terms of power, it is sourced from a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine with an output of 540 HP (403 kW) and 538 lb-ft (728 Nm) of torque. The engine’s yield has thus been raised by 40 HP (30 kW) and 22 lb-ft (30 Nm) of torque. The muscle is then transferred to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.

As a result, the latest Alpina B7 accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in a whopping 4.3 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 194 mph (312 km/h). As we’ve been told, the price of this magnificent car will start at $128,495. It’ll go on sale in the US during August, just after its debut.
