The Bologna Motor Show will be the place where Maserati will unveil their GranTurismo S Limited Edition, as they celebrate 150 years of history for the company. The car represents the focal point of this celebration. The small series will only come in 12 pieces, destined exclusively for the Italian car market.
The Maserati GranTurismo S Limited Edition comes painted in a unique matte blue, while the front spoiler, door handles, rear spoiler and exterior mirror cases come in carbon fiber accents. The brake calipers are made of aluminum and are hand-polished, the 20-inch rims are painted in matte-black and the side skirts come also painted in matte black.
The interior has undergone a few changes as well, with a commemorative “150th Anniversary” plate at the base of the central console, many carbon fiber insertions – central tunnel, instruments and dashboard -, while leather and Alcantara are used all over the car.
Performance related modifications haven’t yet been announced, we presume the car will be equipped with the same 4.7-liter V8 found in the series version of the car, that develops 450 HP.
