Although it might seem hard to believe anybody would ever get tired of such a thing, there’s a used Eurocopter EC130 for sale in the UK – a great opportunity for someone who would like to take to the air in a light helicopter and also has a small fortune lying around.
The model was built in 2005, however it seems to be in great condition, regular maintenance and low hours getting the credit for that. It comes with a red paintjob, which is probably not something everyone will appreciate (and we’re not exactly sure how many body shops also work on private helicopters), it does however draw attention to itself – and if you’re flying a helicopter, let’s face it, you probably want a bit of that.
Technical specs have not been released by the seller, so we can only assume they’re the standard figures for the EC 130: 847shp engine which powers the aircraft to a top speed of 178 mph, with a range 378 miles. The helicopter also comes with dual controls, 7 energy attenuating seats, air conditioning and even tinted windows (except for the windscreen).
The price for this Eurocopter EC 130 is set at £1,295,000 (or about $2,165,000).
