Whenever or wherever we see the name Aston Martin, we’re like – “Go for it!” And we’ve found yet another occasion to feature the exquisite brand on our website – put together by Evanta Motor Company, the manufacturers of a DB4GT work of art, a lovely 1:1 scale model that consists of pieces from an Aston Martin DBR1/2 driven by Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby to the Le Mans win back in 1959.

Measuring 11.3 feet in height and 20.8 feet in length, the showpiece weighs between 1,100 and 1,320 lbs. Manufactured by hand alike an AirFix kit, the contraption features the whole DBR 1 bodyshell, plus bits and pieces like a Mota Lita steering wheel and cap signed by Salvadori and Shelby, 16 inch wire wheels with Aston Martin knock-offs and intricately upholstered seats.

Every part sports an AirFix-like personal guide number tied to it, just like on the assembly line. The one and only piece ever manufactured will be auctioned during the Goodwood Revival week-end at the British Goodwood circuit. The auction guide price was set between £20,000 and £30,000 (between around $31,300 and $47,000).
