Land Rover aims to capitalize on the success of their acclaimed Range Rover Evoque, the British carmaker’s best selling model, with the release of an upgraded 2016 model.

As we are about to see, these modifications are both aesthetic and mechanical in nature. First of all, there’s a new bumper with larger intakes at the corners, while the headlights come with LED DRLs (or, optionally, all-LED beams). Potential customers can also choose one of two new grille designs: either the standard fitment with two crossbars and a fine mesh, or a hexagonal structure. Moving towards the rear we see a wider, slimmer LED brake light, located just under a new spoiler.

The car’s interior also comes with plenty of changes, like the modified gauge cluster, seats with a massage function, a new infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen, and new colors like Lunar Ice and Vintage Tan.

Power comes from two new all-aluminum TD4 diesel engines, one outputting 148 hp (which is also 18% more efficient than before), the other 178 hp.

We’ll be able to catch a first glimpse at the 2016 Range Rover Evoque during the Geneva Motor Show, which kicks off in a few days.
