VUHL 05RR

Don’t be shocked by the ‘supercar’ attribute, since VUHL’s ultimate road-legal track car has been finally unveiled and it’s absolutely incredible. The VUHL 05RR is super light, benefits from an incredible power-to-weight ratio and looks scary as hell – no offence intended, since this has nothing to do with religious beliefs.

With a heart-stopping 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of just 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 160 mph (255 km/h), we can safely state this thing was meant for racing and track-fun. But it’s completely road-legal, and with a power-to-weight ratio greater than that of the Ferrari F12tdf, McLaren P1 and even the Bugatti Veyron, we’re sure you’re starting to believe we’re dealing with a supercar right now.

The VUHL 05RR also comes with ultra-lightweight carbon fiber wheels, wrapped in Michelin Cup 2 rubber, as well as a revised aero package that just looks amazing. The latter comprises a full-width rear wing & F1-inspired diffuser strakes, while a full carbon fiber bodywork, on top of an aluminum-carbon monocoque, and a 2.3-liter Ecoboost engine are also part of the package.

The engine might sound small, but it’s good for about 385 BHP (390 PS) and 500 Nm (368 lb-ft) of torque, and it was mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Goodwood Festival of Speed, a Mecca for performance car aficionados, was the ideal event to reveal VUHL’s latest project – a car that’s faster and more aggressive that everything they’ve ever unleashed to the world.
