Things are getting out of hand in the world of luxury, but in a wonderful way; I mean, accommodations around the world are becoming more and more outrageous, and you never know what comes next. And that’s only when we think about hotels, but don’t you dare forget about air travel.
Premium Airlines are now offering anything and everything you could ever need, with Emirates, Etihad, Qantas, Lufthansa and British Airways competing for the title of world’s best airline. Virgin Australia totally deserves a mention in this list, with its new business class cabin on board of its Boeing 777 looking all kinds of beautiful.
The Business Class you see here was fitted into the long-haul Boeing 777-300ER, making long flights a lot more bearable. I already see myself seating there, enjoying the comforts of a suite and an 80-inch lie-flat bed, while flying thousands of feet above the ground.
This design features a 1-2-1 configuration, giving every seat access to the aisle while also providing passengers with maximum privacy. All 37 suites benefit from a triple-layer seat cushion, supported by a hammock sub-frame and a turndown service; and let’s not forget about the large 18 inches in-flight entertainment screens.
Once passengers get hungry, a specially-crafted menu by celebrity chef Luke Mangan will take care of their needs, in a delicious manner. Furthermore, the Business Class Bar & Lounge is well-equipped to handle all tastes, offering incredible aromas and flavors during your flight, with beer, wine and spirits, as well as snacks.
Flights like these could make us rent a permanent place on-board, rather than look for a place to live. Virgin Australia has also revamped its economy class, which now includes three versions – Premium Economy or ‘Premium’, Economy and the latest Economy Space+.
All five classes will be refitted into the Boeing 777-300ERs by the third quarter of this year, making your trips a lot more enjoyable.
