Mexico is a bright and sunny place, which makes it great place to go on holidays. Xcaret, located on the seashore near Cancun, in the Riviera Maya, is place where you can get a taste of a little bit of everything Mexico has to offer – and one of the most remarkable experiences isn’t even out in the open, but tucked away from the sun, in a series of underground caves.

Xcaret offers its guests a unique tour of its archaeological park, which includes snorkeling along through underground rivers, exploring these otherworldly caves and the Mayan ruins. A great part of the tour is the fact that you don’t even have to exhaust yourself in order to complete it, just put on those goggles, snorkel, flippers, and a life jacket and…go with the flow! The currents will actually take you through the few thousand feet of underground waterways at a gentle pace, allowing you to take in as much of the experience as possible.
