Ulysse Nardin Black Sea with yellow hands and indices

Based in Le Locle, in Switzerland, the fabled Ulysse Nardin has always enchanted us with some of the most stunning timepieces we’ve ever seen. An addition to his Black Sea collection, this wonderful, yellow chronograph differentiates from its ancestral version through a yellow coloration of its indices and hands.

Similar to the earlier versions, the red version of the Black Sea and the Black Sea Chronograph, the yellow model encompasses a stainless steel case, treated with a complex vulcanization process that conferred it the matte-black rubber coating.

The 6 o’clock position hosts the small seconds and round date, while the 12 o’clock spot serves as home to the watch’s power-reserve indicator. This feature is somewhat useless, as the timepiece sports an automatic mechanical UN caliber 26 movement, with no need of a power reserve indicator.

Finished with a black rubber strap with ceramic inserts and ceramic folding clasp, this 45.8 mm timepiece is a stunning gadget that we’d proudly love to wear on our wrists. I wonder what a blue version would look like!
