For one reason or another, premium car manufacturers have often teamed up with prestigious watchmakers to create bespoke, automotive-inspired timepieces, which makes Range Rover and Zenith’s association not that big of a surprise. Of course, the two renowned brands have worked together for a special watch, which allows us to enjoy beautiful design lines and new levels of prestige.

Called the Zenith El Primero Range Rover, this timepiece was introduced alongside Range Rover’s SVAutobiography Dynamic model at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, which was probably the best place (and occasion) to showcase such as gorgeous watch. Through timeless design, both brands express authentic luxury, and we can all agree life is not worth living with a healthy dosage of exclusivity around it.

The 1969 El Primero movement, the world’s first self-winding chronograph, is mentioned by Zenith in the official press release, although we’re not quite sure this particular piece is powered by said movement.

Even more disappointing is the fact that details are scarce regarding this unique collaboration and its stunning results. However, if were to compare, and assume there’s a powerful resemblance between the SVAutobiography vehicle and the watch, we’d be more than impressed.

Land Rover’s Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic is the best the British car maker has to offer right now – stylish, sporty and with a 5.0-liter Supercharged V8 powering this beauty and developing 550 PS (542 hp) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft); the SUV also benefits from Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations’ expertise, and with this watch, things are about to get even better.
