Zenith El Primero Chronomaster World Stratos

Part of a limited series of just 40 pieces, the Zenith El Primero Chronomaster World Stratos celebrates the automotive icon and racing legend that was the Lancia Stratos HF World Rally Champion. Featuring a 42mm stainless steel case, this dreamy watch comes with a double AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and will keep it together at depths of up to 50 meters.

Movement is provided by the Swiss automatic Zenith in-house caliber El Primero 4061, which means 31 jewels, 36,000 vph and a power reserve of up to 50 hours. There’s also a classy silicon escape wheel and lever, while the rotor boasts Côtes de Genève decoration.

With a superb silver-toned dial, bearing the World Stratos Meeting logo, this limited series Zenith El Primero Chronomaster makes use of interesting materials and details, such as rhodium and SuperLuminova, while the finishing touch consists of a black alligator leather strap, with protective rubber lining and red stitching.

As a welcomed bonus, these special Zenith watches will come alongside a miniature model of the Lancia Stratos car, complemented by a white lacquered wooden presentation box that’s decorated with the Italian flag, and featuring lining reminiscent of the Stratos’ original upholstery inside.

The watch looks marvelous, but are we the only ones dreaming of driving the automotive icon?
