G-Power automotive specialists have recently lifted the curtains off a brand new program for the 2013 BMW M6. Compared to the previous kit they’ve launched back in November, this one is up with more muscle and better looks.
This G-Power upgrade for the 2013 BMW M6 aids the Bimer’s engine in developing 640 HP and 777 Nm of torque due to the stunning Bi-Tronik III kit. The acceleration has been quite a lot improved as well, the car being able to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.8 seconds. The top speed is quite staggering too – 315 km/h! So, there’s quite a lot more from the 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 hiding under its bonnet, as it had gone extensive modifications and ECU reprogramming. The boost of the turbocharger has been increased as well.
Furthermore, to avoid the transmission being overridden, the G-Power kit limits the torque output during the process of shifting. The car’s exhaust system has been changed as well, having been fitted with link pipes and resonators. The exhaust weighs, in total, 12 kg less than the standard one, while the muffler tips were replaced by carbon fiber or titanium ones, measuring 100 mm in diameter each.
Under the car, the G-Power kit consists of new brakes, with 6-piston calipers and 420 mm discs at the front, Michelin sports tires, coilover suspension kit and a set of alloy measuring 21 inches in diameter. The price hasn’t been told so far.
