Measuring 42.40 meters, the sleek Sanlorenzo 460Exp is the latest brain-child of Italian shipyard SanLorenzo. Launched earlier this year, the vessel features an exterior penned down by the renowned Francesco Paszkowski, who has created a striking profile that was actually inspired by large exploration vessels.

Built using a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, this new yacht shows off a unique moss green paint job, allowing it to stand out from the crowd easily. The Sanlorenzo 460Exp boasts exceptional on board living spaces, being able to accommodate up to 10 passengers within five spacious en suite cabins, two double guest rooms and two twin guest rooms, as well as a full beam master suite.

On the main deck you will find a large saloon boasting large sofas surrounding a low, grey coffee table, with a bright and congenial ambiance. The main dining area is located forward of the large seating area, including a square table that will set up to ten guests comfortably.

The lower deck includes various amenities, such as a wellness room with an endless swimming pool, a modern gym, and even a Turkish bath. The rooms are illuminated by large vertical windows to either side, offering beautiful views of the sea outside.

Speaking of which, the vast open aft deck can be used to store tenders or landing craft up to 10 meters in length. Also worth mentioning is the second ‘endless’ current swimming pool on the deck, as well as a complete beach club at the stern, with the second bar area on board, a sauna and a dedicated space for diving.

In terms of power, the 460Exp comes with twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines of 1,319 hp each, resulting in a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots.

About Victor Baker

Victor has always been a big fan of cars, which is why he’s so proud to call himself a genuine petrolhead these days. His love actually stemmed from his father, who was an automotive engineer. Today, he loves to write down everything that comes to mind, car-related or not, and when he really gets down to it, he pretty much becomes one with his laptop.
