Hublot has just unveiled a new limited edition timepiece, the gorgeous Hublot MP-07 42 Days Power Reserve, inspired by the somewhat less accessible MP-05 La Ferrari.
It’s a cool looking timepiece that would be perfect for racing or simply car enthusiasts, but you should also know that a diamond-covered version of the Hublot MP-07 42 Days Power Reserve is available as well, associated by a price tag of almost $1 million.
The movement components of the two super long power reserve watches are similar, but they come with a different layout. Telling time might prove to be an issue, for some people, but I guess all that’s part of the cool factor of this piece.
The movement inside of the Hublot MP-07 42 Days Power Reserve watch is the in-house-made and manually wound caliber HUB9007.H1.PN. Looking absolutely amazing, this movement is composed of 487 parts with an operating frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 bph). Winding the watch requires the electric-powered winding drill, which is a small price to pay for that long power reserve.
The all black-coated titanium case of the Hublot MP-07 42 Days Power Reserve shows off a 30-meter water resistance, as well as a series if sapphire crystals on the case front, side, and rear, and a cool black rubber strap keeps it attached on your wrist.
The price tag for this exquisite piece of timekeeping is $276,000, which will probably discourage most people, but as we’ve previously said, there’s also a diamond-covered version of this watch, priced at exactly $920,000.
