The Hublot Big Bang Zebra watch unveiled

We haven’t been talking about Hublot for a while, and this could be called a sacrilege. No worries, though, here they are, back with the Big Bang series. They have reportedly added another member to the collection they’ve named the Big Bang “Zebra Bang”.

This doesn’t really come as a surprise for us, because they have previously focused on animals as themes, for example the Boa Bang and the Leopard Bang. This one, though, is focused on bringing the herbivores closer to timekeeping enthusiasts through a zebra-like striped dial. A weird fact is that today’s fashion is being overrun by zebra stripes thus this timepiece couldn’t have been released at a better time.

The case is crafted from black ceramic material and boasts a bezel set with 48 baguette cut spinels and topazes. Measuring 41 mm in diameter, the dial is encrusted with 8 small diamonds. The heart of the Zebra Bang is a HUB4300 automatic mechanical chronograph movement. And ultimately, the strapping was made of calfskin leather printed to resemble zebra skin and then sewn onto black rubber.

Apart from all these, this feminine piece boasts with water resistance of up to 100 meters and will reportedly debut in January 2013 at the Geneva Trade Show.
