In order to celebrate its 250th anniversary, Hennessy is releasing a limited edition signature blend called The Hennessy 250 Collector’s Blend.
This exquisite cognac was created by master blender Yann Fillioux, who spent four years working alongside a seven-member tasting committee, who tasted over 50 eaux-de-vies in order to get the perfect ingredients for the eventual release. The blend matured in 250, 250-liter bespoke barrels (we’re noticing a pattern here), specially sized by Hennessy’s coopers at La Tonnellerie de la Sarrazine.
Every bottle comes in a stylish crystal decanter made by glassware designer Stéphanie Balini, an elegant, modern take on the classic, world-renowned Hennessy bottle.
Built in 1744, the Hennessy’s Founders Cellar was acquired by Hennessy in 1850 to mature cognacs. The very special The Hennessy 250 Collector’s cognac is already available, and comes with a price tag of $355 for a one liter bottle. This is just one of the many releases and events with which the acclaimed cognac brand is celebrating this very important milestone in the company’s history.
