One of the newest independent watchmakers around, Emmanuel Bouchet has announced its second watch in the form of the wonderful EB02. Looking minimalist, yet incredibly exquisite, the Emmanuel Bouchet EB02 shows off a 39 mm case, available in either 18k white gold or 18k rose gold and complemented by a black lacquer dial or a white mother of pearl dial.
As you can see from any of these photos, every version of the EB02 looks amazing, but official word from Emmanuel Bouchet reveals that the brand will allow clients to customize their own lacquer dials. Next, you should pay attention to the aperture of the dial and also the highly domed sapphire crystal, which accentuates the three-dimensional qualities of the dial and makes the sub-dials look as if the were floating in space.
In terms of looks, the Emmanuel Bouchet EB02 is a much less complex watch than you’d expect, although the up and coming watchmaker will gladly add some diamonds on the dial. But the movement hiding within the case is truly spectacular, with the new caliber EB89F being the brand’s first automatic movement, backed up by 45 hours of power reserve.
Keeping in line with the market, this bespoke watch will only be available extremely limited numbers, a simple explanation for the craftsmanship on display. With that in mind, you should be aware of the fact that the Emmanuel Bouchet EB02 in 18k white gold and rose gold is priced at 49,800 Swiss francs, while the diamonds will make this watch cost 57,000 Swiss francs.
