Coming straight from the Netherlands, the collaboration between Oceanco and Vitters, two renowned names in the yachting world, has resulted in this stunning 86-meter long sailing yacht, called Aquijo. This is the first collaboration between the two Dutch yacht builders, and it’s beyond amazing, if you ask us.
Designed by Tripp Design Naval Architects, the giant sailing vessel houses two towering masts along with 5,000 square meters of sails. Aquijo was meant to be one of the world’s largest high performance sailing yachts, and with Oceanco’s craftsmanship and Vitters Shipyard’s expertise, we tend to believe this vessel is one of the most impressive yachts out there.
You should also know that interior design studio Dölker & Voges has made it possible for the passengers to enjoy nothing but the most incredible decor and accommodations. This race-ready sailing yacht also brags about amenities that could be only found on the largest motor yachts on the Seven Seas.
Details about Aquijo are scarce at the moment, but the aft deck is apparently home to various seating areas, a dining area for up to 20 guests, an outdoor grill setup as well as an indoor/outdoor bar. There’s also a swim platform and an extensive beach club area, which is a rare treat for sailing yachts, along with a spa featuring a steam room and sauna and a large hot tub. That’s called racing and winning, in complete luxury and style.
