Orion X

The Orion X will be a name to remember, as the skilled team from the extreme system builder 8-Pack has put together one of the most powerful and impressive gaming PCs we’ve ever seen. Introduced at the Asus booth at Computex, the system features the new Broadwell-E hardware, along with three Nvidia GTX 1080 graphic cards.

We’re sure you’ve already noticed the triple loop cooling system, which adds a touch of futuristic looks to this incredible gaming PC. We’re going to go ahead and state that a matching color-themed and equally performance-oriented display would give credit to this unique design, right?

The striking red, silver and grey coolants are housed within a Phanteks Enthoo Elite Case, and their job is obviously to cool down the processor, the three graphic cards and the SSD. This monstrous system is powered by a 10-core Intel Core i7-6950X processor, working its magic from an Asus Rampage 5 X99 motherboard.

Weighing in at 50 kilograms and valued at a cool $20,000, the Orion X will probably entertain those of you with deep pockets; but, if you can afford it, it’s definitely worth every penny. We’re already thinking about what games to install, and it’s a long, long list. Trust me!

About Victor Baker

Victor has always been a big fan of cars, which is why he’s so proud to call himself a genuine petrolhead these days. His love actually stemmed from his father, who was an automotive engineer. Today, he loves to write down everything that comes to mind, car-related or not, and when he really gets down to it, he pretty much becomes one with his laptop.
