It’s not hard to guess what German company Goldencycle is all about – they create bikes sporting a distinctive gold livery. A few months ago, the company introduced its first single-speed fixed gear bike called Gold Cycle One, a product aimed specifically at New York professional bike messengers. The company has recently released a sequel to their product named Gold Cycle Two, featuring the same simple and effective design as the previous model, which along with its great look was its main selling point.
The Gold Cycle Two comes with the same matte aluminum body with anodized gold accents as its predecessor, which despite its rather opulent look, is really quite the opposite of that. The bicycle was designed with cost-efficiency in mind, to meet the needs of commuters rather than to catch the eye of wealthy collectors. It is built using on a custom frame and a series of components crafted in-house based on three years of testing and research.
The spectacular Gold Cycle Two comes with a relatively modest price tag of $750.
