Excalibur Automatic Skeleton Carbon

Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis has decided to impress us all with a new carbon-cased version of its lovely Roger Dubuis Excalibur Automatic 42 Skeleton watch, that comes with a sporty flavor and it’s actually a little lighter when you compare it to the original version of this watch.

The striking red colored elements on the dial add to the overall charm of this new Excalibur timepiece, while the 42 mm wide and 12.14 mm thick case, featuring water resistance of up to 30 meters, makes this watch both stylish and practical.

It’s actually the first time Roger Dubuis has used carbon fiber for a watch case and they’ve done a brilliant job with it!

The in-house made Roger Dubuis caliber RD820SQ automatic takes care of movement, looking incredibly cool in the gorgeous dark tone finish. This complex movement operates at at 4Hz and 28,800 vph, featuring a power reserve of 60 hours.

The Carbon version of the Excalibur Automatic Skeleton is not part of a limited edition, but it will still set you back more than a decent new car, being priced at $63,100.
