One of the most eye-catching timepieces to be presented during the Watches & Wonders exhibition taking place during 30 September and 2 October in Hong Kong is the new Roger Dubuis Hommage Minute Repeater Tourbillon Automatic.

The stunning watch has a 434-part RD104 movement and features the platinum double micro-rotors, which are something of a Roger Dubuis signature element, finished in hand-guilloché pink gold. The innovative minute repeater has rectangular gongs (these are usually round shaped) and boasts state-of-the-art new mechanism ensuring the sound is as clear and crisp as such a splendid piece deserves.

As for the aesthetics of the piece, leaf-shaped hands sit above the central sunray guilloché motif which is encircled by a brushed finish ring topped with Roman numerals. The limited edition number is engraved on the case side and there’s also a concave bezel and broad inner bezel ring. Like all Roger Dubuis watches, this one too sports the Poinçon de Genève (Geneva Seal), a sign of excellence associated with great prestige.

The release is limited to 20 pieces, each priced at CHF 380,000, or about $400,000.
