Pristine McLaren F1 on sale

We’ve got great news for every automotive enthusiast out there – a virtually new McLaren F1 supercar is currently for sale in Japan, for a price that hasn’t yet been told.

It is a gorgeous car painted in bright yellow and finished back in 1996. Furthermore, the F1 presents itself in excellent condition, having not been driven at all since it made it out of factory 17 years ago. It was bought by a wealthy Japanese customer who hasn’t at all bothered to take it for a spin on the road – he had maybe considered it more of an investment rather than one of the rarest supercars on the market today.

Mind you, but this beast packs quite a punch – powered by a 6.1-liter V12 BMW engine, this car used to be the fastest production car in the world when it was made, being able to reach a mind-boggling top speed of 243 mph (391 km/h).

Price-wise, it will probably bring a great refund to its current owner, judging by the fact that a UK dealer had sold one during 2012 for $5.5 million. This model is in pristine condition, therefore it’ll probably fetch in excess of $6 million. It is in fact the only McLaren F1 out of the 64 stock ones ever manufactured that hasn’t rolled down the road.
