For the biggest Porsche fans, Porsche Design has expanded its Driver’s Selection with some tantalizing additions for the home and office.
The new collection features items crafted from original Porsche parts like an office chair derived from a 911 Carrera sport seat as well as a wall shelf built from the rear spoiler of a 911 GT3 Cup Race car. The 911 Carrera-derived office chair is built to the same specifications and is upholstered with the same premium black leather as the sport seat in various 911 models.
The office chair also features an electronic backrest adjustment as well as an embossed Porsche emblem in the headrest. The carbon-fiber wall shelf, meanwhile, is constructed from the rear spoiler of an original Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Race car and it can support up to 264 pounds.
The Porsche Driver’s Selection collection also includes a 1:8 scale resin model of the Porsche 918 Spyder. Only 918 pieces of this scale model will be built.
