 Natura Vive Skylodge

I see that man smiling, while standing on the side of the mountain, but I can’t figure out what is he so happy about. However, once you get a glimpse of the Natura Vive Skylodge, made up of three clear capsules hanging from a cliff in Peru’s Sacred Valley, you begin to get a clue, and wonder: would I dare to sleep there?

This might actually be the most terrifying hotel in the world, where guests sleep 400-feet up the side of a cliff in jaw dropping transparent pods. If they want to experience these one-of-a-kind hotel accommodations, guests will have to sweat a little, climbing up here a Via Ferrata or hiking an intrepid trail through ziplines.

Checking-in here might be pretty hard but the check out is even more exciting, consisting of a zip wire which gets down, quite fast, I might add.

The three capsule suites from Natura Vive Skylodge can accommodate a total of eight people, featuring four beds, a dining area and even a private bathroom that comes with an eco toilet and sink. The transparent pods have been constructed from aerospace aluminum and weather resistant polycarbonate, allowing you to stay in complete safety up on a cliff, while enjoying 300-degree vistas of the stunning Sacred Valley.

These pods are extremely comfortable as well and you’ll be sleeping here on high quality mattresses with cotton sheets, down pillows and quilts. You don’t even need to worry about getting enough fresh air in these capsules, since the pods come fitted with six windows and four ventilation ducts.

The unforgettable experience at Natura Vive also includes breakfast and a gourmet dinner with wine in these pods. The whole adventure here will set you back £200 ($312) per night.
