Paying tribute to the legendary movie star and her role in that film, Montblanc has created this exclusive pen called the Rita Hayworth Limited Edition 46. There are quite a few references to the luxury writing instrument’s source of inspiration. The pen’s translucent green lacquer reminds one of Hayworth’s satin gown she wore on the movie poster, while the shape of the instrument is reminiscent of her alluring figure. As is appropriate for a piece dedicated to one once dubbed ”The Love Goddess”, the handcrafted gold nib features a heart-shaped hole, while the cap is set with diamonds. Even the number 46 is chosen to represent the year Gilda was released.
